About

My love for pottery began in 1984 when, at 15 years old, I discovered clay in my Year 10 art class. From the very first lesson, I was captivated by its texture, versatility, and the endless possibilities it offered for creative expression.
Like many creative journeys, mine was shaped around life’s commitments—marriage, raising a family, work, and renovating a home. Throughout it all, I always found space for clay, setting up my pottery wheel wherever I could and returning to the craft whenever time allowed over the next 40 years.
Today, I am fortunate to work from a fully equipped pottery studio, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my passion. I am a self-taught potter, continually learning and exploring all aspects of pottery, from clay bodies to glazing techniques. I am drawn to creating distinctive, one-of-a-kind pieces that sit outside traditional boundaries—some familiar, others boldly unconventional.
I hope you enjoy exploring my work.
